DetailGuys.Ca has been chosen as one of seven recipients of a $5,000 Starter Company Plus grant trough the Halton Region.
Starter Company Plus supports eligible (aspiring) entrepreneurs looking to build their small businesses. The program provides training, mentoring, and advice. It also helps small business owners apply for grants that will aid them financially.
The Halton Region Small Business Centre is the program administrator in Halton Region. We focus on supporting local economic development needs in two “streams” for companies who have been in operation for 12 months or less:
- The Export stream helps businesses focused on exporting a product or service to markets outside Ontario.
- The Main Street stream helps small businesses provide their product or service within their own community.
This February 2022, DetailGuys.Ca competed in a pitch competition where we secured a $5,000.00 grant to go towards our business development.
Out of the many companies we competed against in this year’s pitch competition for economic development, we were awarded one of seven grants issued to small businesses looking to grow in the Halton Region.
